The Mill and the Mountain
Here is my Movie Review of The Mill and the Mountain:
The Mill and The Mountain |
The Mill and the Mountain is a drama thriller based on the true story of murders on British Columbia Highway 16 where 18 women have gone missing since 1963, known as Highway of Tears.
Character Jake Kinney is given a second chance working with a newspaper. He's tipped about a youth who apparently has lost his memory found on this stretch of highway with $1500 in his pocket.
Kinney is suddenly assigned to another gruesome murder along British Columbia's Highway of Tears.
Highway of Tears is a 800 km stretch of Highways 16 from Prince George to Prince Rupert,B.C.
The Mill and the Mountain strong story-line can easily lead into a TV series of the once unsolved murders.
The Mill and the Mountain is a joint adventure by Writer/Director Sean Horlor along with Director/ Producer Steve Adams and Sean Cox Director of Photography/ Producer.
I found their CineCoup: Speechless - The Mill and the Mountain Video well done thanks to the above crew and their post-production team Jeff Canade and Jocelyn Peirce.
A great Canadian thriller sure to make your heart pound showcasing a troubled teen and the disappearance of women along the most dangerous Highway of Tears.
It's captured my interest and most undoubtedly a good teaming of fans on CineCoup.
Congrats on the Top 10!
