The Mill and the Mountain - Movie Review

The Mill and the Mountain

Here is my Movie Review of The Mill and the Mountain:

The Mill and The Mountain

The Mill and the Mountain is a drama thriller based on the true story of  murders on British Columbia Highway 16 where 18 women have gone missing since 1963, known as Highway of Tears.

Character Jake Kinney is given a second chance working with a newspaper. He's tipped about a youth who apparently has lost his memory found on this stretch of highway with $1500 in his pocket.

Kinney is suddenly assigned to another gruesome murder along British Columbia's Highway of Tears.

Highway of Tears is a 800 km stretch of Highways 16 from Prince George to Prince Rupert,B.C.

The Mill and the Mountain strong story-line can easily lead into a TV series of the once unsolved murders.

The Mill and the Mountain is a joint adventure by Writer/Director Sean Horlor along with Director/ Producer Steve Adams and Sean Cox Director of Photography/ Producer.

I found their CineCoup: Speechless - The Mill and the Mountain Video well done thanks to the above crew and  their post-production team Jeff Canade and Jocelyn Peirce.

A great Canadian thriller sure to make your heart pound showcasing a troubled teen and the disappearance of women along the most dangerous Highway of Tears.

It's captured my interest and most undoubtedly a good teaming of fans on CineCoup.

Congrats on the Top 10!

The Mill and the Mountain is now among the top 10 picks on CineCoup and I'm looking to see the next level of The Mill and the Mountain.

Grade Nine - Movie Review

Grade Nine Movie

My Movie Review of : Grade Nine

Grade Nine Movie
Grade Nine Movie

I enjoy the misfits of geeks who are basically considered on the lower end of societies food chain. But I wouldn't count them out yet!

It's an intriguing comedy but showcasing serious struggles in the Ninth Grade with the classic "Fulton School" which I think we can all relate to.

I found this to be of interest.  Picking Fulton School is most likely a fluke, but this is where I went to school in Vernon, B.C. from Grade 7 -10.

Good old Clarence Fulton Jr High School in Polson Park. Believe it or not, Mr. Fulton was an actually teacher ( it since been dismantled in the park).

Owlbear Productions closely resembles the life and times during school years.

It could easily be any Junior High School meaning some things never really age with time.

The Character AJ meeting rough and tough Jodi is sure to make this film interesting. Jodi teaches AJ a few new rules in the pecking  order of things.

Writer/Director Jay Rathor gives us an insight on how we look at school violence and it's relationship to Bullying throughout our society as a whole.

Grade Nine will bring the seriousness of bullying to front stage and possibly we should see this crew into the next step of  the Top 5 in Banff.

Interstate 90 - Movie Review

Interstate 90

My Review of Interstate 90:

Interstate 90 - The Movie
INTERSTATE 90

I really enjoy the introduction scene panning off the lake towards the city I believe is Boston.

This is most possibly the POV Camera's they used to capture awesome action scenes. This is exactly how I would approach action scenes with a limited budget.

This is what I know:

A professional killer known only as "The Frenchman" (played by Frank Chiesurin) is chasing sexy bounty hunter,Ciara, who's set to deliver Len to his brother Colin within the underworld of Boston.

I'm curious to who The Frenchman is killing in the opening scene of CineCoup: Speechless - Interstate 90 ? Is this Len's girlfriend or another "hit" all together.

The Spin Off Video of Interstate 90 brings Ciara Bounty Hunter to front stage and well...what can you say, but, " Wow!"

This action-pack road trip on Interstate 90 is sure to capture your attention.

Scam The Movie - Movie Review

Scam - The Movie

My Movie Review of Scam The Movie :

Scam - the movie

I can real relate to this Crime Suspense Film,as a couple of family friends have been victims of marketing scams.

I can see the twist of revenge from one of the victims where the scammer had thought he was going to be an easily prey.

This story should shake the community into taking scams into serious consideration.

Just maybe something will be done about it.

I'm eager to see Scam the movie among the Top 5 Picks at the Banff Media Festival in June 2013.

A very important story-line to be told to the world.

BAD - Movie Review

BAD - The Trailer

Here is my Review of BAD

Bad - The Movie
Bad - The Trailer

How far will you go?

When to push back and the risks involved when you step over that line.

Your Characters Josh and Zoey (brother and sister) are at the "Core of the Story" ending up with robbery, drug dealing and bloody murder on their hands.

BAD can easily be a great movie as well as a TV Series. I can already envision a two hour pilot of BAD ready for Prime time.

It's sure to be sizzling "BAD" leaving you glued to your seat.

Bad is not going to disappoint you - it's raw and full of drama.

It can easily happen to anyone if they're pushed in the wrong direction.

We all have choices.

With the video CineCoup Speechless Video of "BAD" it sure shows you the intensity of BAD.

If your luck ran out what would you do?

So - The Question is: How far are you willing to go?

Uprising - Movie Review

Uprising

My Review of Uprising:

Uprising - The Movie
UPRISING

An action-pack science-fiction thriller where our society may lead to in the near future if a nuclear event ever should happen.

Uprising begins after a nuclear war has taken place, breaking apart civilization as we know it.

Small colonies rely on the newly formed Arcadia  but things begin to break down between the two societies.

A small group begin Uprising to defend their movement and in turn fight for survival.

In the future any new change comes with resistance, bloodshed and death.

The main characters look promising, bringing to the screen their perspective approach along with a close-up personal attachment.

I like when it becomes up close and personal. In the end, we can relate to our own human qualities, weakness and sacrifices. It drives us to change ourselves and the world we live in.

Uprising is a Brave beginning to mankind's dark future of a new Revolution, hence Uprising.

In Conclusion I can see Uprising lead into a trilogy in our near future taking advantage of the strong flowing story-line.
Good luck guys into the Top 5

Wolfcop - Movie Review

Wolfcop

My Movie Review : Wolfcop is going to make Dirty Harry look like a "nice guy" after this Horror Fantasy reaches Cineplex Theaters in 2014.

Wolfcop - The Movie
Wolf Cop

Writer/Director Lowell Dean and Producer Bernie Hernando showcase a good story-line featuring a twist from other horror movies - A Wolf Cop!

Their initiative branding of Wolfcop will spread like wildfire on the Cineplex Screen and I can already see sequels or even a TV series. It's sure to become one of your favorite movies.

Just a little warning : Don't accept the cookies from the sweet little old lady - it just may turn you into a Wolfcop :)

Alien Abduction Movie
Alien Abduction

Here's my Official CineCoup Review of Alien Abduction

A comical story about a visiting Alien becoming abducted by slacker Dave Duberinski.

The fun fact of how the Human Race is being Judged will now depend on Dave's actions.

A strong story-line featuring a comical look at our humanity and is it worth saving.

It will be hard to stay put in your seat watching Alien Abduction - You just might crack a rib from all the laughter.

I give it two thumbs up! Inspiring and fun to watch. BE BRAVE!

Red Horizon - Movie Review

RED HORIZON

My Official Review of Red Horizon:

Red Horizon Canadian Film
Red Horizon

A riveting story about keeping the peace while on route to Mars by a Psychiatrist may lead to on-board disaster threatening the whole crew.

A Strong Team of Talent with Writer/Director Chris along with Social Media & Marketing Frances and Executive Producer Andrea show passion in their story made for people about people.

A Science Fiction Thriller that will leave you hanging in your seats.
